Remotely access computer via BCSnet

Remote Desktop Connection to remotely access computer via BCSnet

To access your machine from home, login onto BCSnet and then from there connect to your machine.  Instructions for connecting from a Windows machine:
  1. From an internet browser, go to
  2. In the menu across the top of the BCS website, click on Resources
  3. Under Resources, select BCSnet
  4. This will open a page that allows you to connect to BCSnet and choose your connection speed
  5. Select your desired connection speed: Low / Medium / High
  6. When asked to open or save, choose Open
  7. This will open an .RDP file, which will open in Remote Desktop Connection and allow you to login to the BCSnet machine
  8. Once logged in to the BCSnet machine, go to the Start menu and type Remote Desktop Connection and click to launch
  9. For computer, enter your machine name: MachineName
  10. Press Connect to login to your machine
